ISLAMABADluckotheirishmegaways, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan has achieved a significant milestone in agricultural sector with agro-exports reaching an unprecedented 8 billion Uluckotheirishmegaways.S. dollars mark for the first time in previous fiscal year from July 2023 to June 2024, Pakistani Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan said Saturday.

The achievement underscores the collective efforts of traders, farmers, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and the commerce ministry, Kamal was quoted as saying in a statement released by the ministry.

The minister emphasized that the remarkable improvement demonstrates the sector's vast potential and reaffirmed the government's commitment to further enhancing it.

Adding to the optimism, the second Agro Show in near future in Pakistan has garnered significant attention, attracting numerous foreign companies interested in the country's agricultural products, said the statement.

This event is poised to open new avenues for international collaborations and investments, further bolstering Pakistan's agro-economy, it added.■
