British pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca said on Tuesdaytempletumblemegawaysslot, its goal is to reach sales of US$80 billion by 2030, nearly double the US$45.8 billion in 2023.

The company said it plans to launch 20 new drugs by 2030 to meet new total revenue targets. Investment bank Jefferies had previously predicted that AstraZeneca's annual sales would exceed US$70 billion by 2031.

Astra set this goal ahead of its first Investor Day event in 10 years. CEO Suboko said he hopes to make AstraZeneca stand out in the competitive cancer drug market.
